Measure the moisture in palm oil

Measuring the moisture and oil levels in palm pulp is a critical measurement for growers. The moisture and oil content of the palm pulp, determines how much growers are paid for their crop.

Ideally a moisture control system should be able to accurately detect moisture in raw materials, preferably at different stages of the manufacturing process, be easy to maintain and tough enough to withstand the harsh, abrasive nature of the raw materials and the mixer environment.

With the help of industry partners and 40 years of knowledge and experience, MoistTech has developed the IR3000 Moisture Sensor which is ideally suited to measure palm pulp.

MoistTech’s IR 3000 sensor is ideal to measure moisture and oil on-line after the decanter/centrifuge. With the addition of MoistTech’s sampler system, a palm pulp sample can be measured and returned to the product stream.
